Sex - 3 times a week

Apparently this is normal or so i hear. I take it this figure is due to people who answer surveys, so what that tells me is sex 3 times a week is common to people who answer surveys. Where does that leave the rest of us?
Sometimes we have it more than that, sometimes we have it less. On average i would not say 3 times a week over the course of say one year is normal for me.
Without going into any great detail is it normal for you?

What's normal for one could be abnormal for another. At my age 3x month is about it.

I think so long as a couple are happy in thier relationship it really isn't important how often they do it.
These kind of surveys can make people feel that they are missing out in some way.

I know when OH and I first married we were like the duracell bunnies..
After the kids came along it was a case of trying to find any time alone Im surprised we ever got to have sex..
Then the last few years he has been working away and I only saw him 1 weekend a month..wow that was great sex!!!

But not ideal for the rest of the relationship.

Now he's home and its less rushed, less needy.
