then i'm sure your gonna ask why don't we invade north korea if that's the case...well that's simple because both China and Russia both are allies of North Korea. Fact is we aren't simply strong enough to take on both Russia and China teamed with North Korea...

World Peace is not our responsibility (only a wish of pageant contestants), so your Iraq explanation doesn't hold water. Which treaties are you referring to?

You mean like the treaties we made with Native Americans?
Go look up how savvy we are at breaking them.
We make treaties to advance our position in the world. We havent been able to manage ourselves for a very long time, maybe we should try cleaning our own house before we tackle the rest of the world.

So your saying that as peace keepers of the world we only want to enforce our ideals on countries that wont give us too much trouble?

How can the government provide for so many people's healthcare when they are in so much debt already. They can't spend so much money without serious consequences. Furthermore, I agree that there is alot more to the healthcare bill than it says on this thread. I've heard that people who don't want insurance at all, will be forced to pay it by the government. Is this true? I'm not sure if it is or not?
