Hows the weather in your part....

Hows the weather in your part of the world today? Just 3 days ago, I had the windows open, shorts on, and still somewhat uncomfortable because of the humidity. Today, its cold, windy.....definetly not outdoor weather. Plus, tonight, its supposed to be below 30 degrees. Now I have to bring some potted plants in. Gotta love Missouri with its ever changing weather.

How about your weather?

Re: Hows the weather in your part....

On Thursday last the temperature touched 90 degrees. The humidity level was thankfully low at only 25%.
Last night we had our first rain for several weeks which was a relief as the yard was beginning to look like a dustbowl. Luckily there was virtually no wind to swirl everything around.
Today the temperature is only 70 - trees and shrubs much happier! Birds singing again!
Typical PA Spring weather. Mercury up and down like a roller coaster
Long range forecast - hot and humid summer with above average number of triple digit days!
Air-con unit getting annual service next week in readiness!
In other words, everything as usual.
Note to LC - please do not send any hurricanes up here. Last year we caught the edge of 4 of them!
And to everyone in the Mid-West - no twisters to be sent to us this year please. Last season we had several too close for comfort!

Now there are several heavy 'boomers' moving around accompanied by rainstorms of truly tropical intensity!

No rest for the wicked!

It Sucks!!!!, and I'll be glad to get back to California on the 1st of May. Lighting, thunder, high winds and lots of hail last night with heavy snowfall in the mountains. Right now it's windy and cold (38F).

Re: Hows the weather in your part....

It's been cloudy and chilly in New Jersey after some nice spring weather last week.
I do see the sun peeking out now.
Maybe there is hope.

Re: Hows the weather in your part....

Well, I think the people in my part of the world handled the freeze here last night ok. It normally doesn't get down below 32F this time of year and many had plants and flowers already in the ground. Everyone from the news on tv to the newspapers were giving advice on what to do with your plants for just one night.

Still cold enough here though for me to have the heat on. I'm ready for Spring like temps again.

It's been absolutely perfect. Sunny blue sky with zero clouds. Temperatures in the 70's. Low, if any, humidity. I wish it were like this year round!
