Lilith
I wanted to start a thread to just discuss her. She appears in Islam, Christianity (referred to as a screech owl in Isaiah) and Judaism.
This site explains the Judaism theories well. Has anyone else heard of her, besides in the Romans thread?

Yeah, she was married to Frasier.
 Seriously, I have heard of her before as some kind of demon but that's about all I know. There have been some very lovely, very provocative paintings done with her as the painter's inspiration. |

I first heard bout her on one of those religious history programs on the discovery channel, then seems like she kept popping up everywhere. I just find it intriguing that she shows up in so many religions.
