Angels

I'm wondering about angels lately.
What or who are they?
What do they do?
How do they look?
Do they still walk among us, and would we know them if we saw them?

Someone told me recently that some people are angels and aren't aware of the fact - that purity of soul defines the difference between angels and humans.

What are your thoughts?

I believe everyone has a spirit guide. That is often the little voice in your head that you listen to, or not. Angels. That is a bigger question. If they were to be described, any ethereal entity, it is the visual equivalent of a dog whistle. They walk unseen by all but those who have the ability to perceive their higher vibration. They tend not to interfere (free will thing) unless it is very important. I believe I have met an angel and I have been told that I have been an angel to a few. An actual angel? Angel only describes an hierarchy of which we have little conception. They come and go because communication is very difficult on the earthly plane.

This is just my idea. I'm no expert.

In Matt. 18, Jesus said that all children have and angel that sees the face of the Father all the time. He never said when the angel is no longer associated with the child but he does imply that we are children in God’s eyes no matter what our age is.

The Bible doesn’t describe angels as they are depicted by artists. The Bible refers to Angels as being very strong and capable beings. I prefer to think of my angel as something other than a baby with wings or a soft and pretty young girl with wings. Wings are rarely a part of an angel’s description. Strength is nearly always associated with angels in the Bible and they are nearly always referred to as masculine.

I too, believe I had a face to face encounter with an Angel. It was at a pivotal point of my life. He was young, strong, extremely intelligent and right on time.

I have an angel. He is a big buff guy with blonde flowing hair. He keeps me from harm often and hides my tennis shoes from me too. My angel likes to play tricks on me.
