The New Pope

Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger - Pope Benedict XV1 has a hostile reception in many quarters. The Italian press was appalled at his election, as was the many liberal catholics around the world.Some call him the Nazi Pope. Joseph Ratzinger, though drafted into the compulsory Hitler Youth as a young boy, refused to join the Nazi party.In his own country Germany, they have called him a Rottweiler.
Hardline he may be in some of his opinions. He regards feminism as ''unnatual'' and ''deformed''. Women priests are out of the question.He has said that Anglicanism and the reformed churches are not proper churches.He deplores multiculturalism.He has called homosexuality the greatest evil.He thinks rock music is a ''vehicle of anti-religion''. He considers cloning to be more dangerous than weapons of mass destruction. Predictably, abortion and euthanasia are great sins.

Like him or loathe him, God's Rottweiler may yet surprise us. We shall have to wait and holy see.

Yes, I agree, we shall have to wait and (holy) see. Strange that he thinks rock music to be a `vehicle of anti-religion`, whereas I (and I suspect millions of others) would have thought this a more fitting description for something, like, say........ the Hitler Youth movement.....?

To be fair to the MAN, he was forced to be in the Hitler Youth movement. I’m not a Catholic and deplore much of what they have done in God’s name. However, I like some of the stands this new pope is taking, for the sake of mankind’s survival.

Cloning is one. I strongly believe that it is evil. Man isn’t smart enough or wise enough to prevent its use on humans. It will happen. When it does, the outcome is as predictable as what we did when we learned how to split an atom. Cloned humans will be used as fodder to accomplish all kinds of evil.
