Re: Religion is bad for your health,
“IT” Has taken human form frequently I understand. The Son was human when “they” nailed him to the cross. it (it) pron., nom. it, poss. its, obj. it, pl. nom. they, poss. their or theirs, obj. them, n.— pron.1. (used to represent an inanimate thing understood, previously mentioned, about to be mentioned, or present in the immediate context) : It was broken. You can't tell a book by its cover. 2. (used to represent a person or animal understood, previously mentioned, or about to be mentioned whose gender is unknown or disregarded) : Who was it? It was John. ![]() |

Most of the Christian Churches of the US got it from Europe in the first place. Handed down from Rome via that monk Martin Luther. And I would not trust anything that came via Rome.

Re: Religion is bad for your health,
My Mother was an O’toole, 1 of nine children and very religious. Born in Ireland came here as an infant. Neighbors for 15 years the Quigley’s. Came here as young adults after kissing the stone, very Irish very religious. My life has been filled with hard drinking hard laughing and hard loving Irish. They love life and the Lord.I was beside myself when My Mother went to a better place. That is until the family came, I couldn’t count them all. From that moment the wake began and around the clock we celebrated her passing. We were drinking eating singing and dancing and telling stories about my Mom, until the burial. The Irish I have known are loving and they truly believe. This has been true even for the ones from the north of Ireland. Why is it I just can’t believe your from Ireland?? ![]() |

Because for many many years we were brainwashed by a crooked church. Religion was our breakfast, dinner and supper. Many of our friends were abused by this church in Irish state/catholic church run institutions. The Power of Religion in this country has turned many in their thousands away from any God they may have believed in. As for me Yes I'm 100% Irish and not very proud of this country we call Ireland. I don't have any religion.
