Americans, it's time to pay attention

Health care "reform" in America is heading down to the wire. The problem is that there is little in the way of true reform. In the final analysis what is being proposed (and yes I have read all the details of the various bills because that is my job) is an expansion of a bad system. The losers will be people with good employer based coverage and those on Medicare.

Costs are going up for many, not down. More people will be covered, but at a great cost adding to the Country's long term problems. because experts agree that the proposed reform does nothing to actually control costs.

What you are seeing is political expediency, not real change and that is a shame. In any case, it really is time to pay attention and understand the consequences.
