Who wants ornaments that are not horizontally equal not to mention vertical alignment. And the ornaments themselves can be challenging. Do you go for one type throughout the tree ? How much time will I spend in the ornament aisle obsessing about which color ? Which shape ? And if you do opt for variety shouldnt there be a general theme ? Its getting me upset just thinking about it.
you are kidding , right? step away from the tree before you have stroke nomad.......

Nomad, you're so funny! Reminds me of my dad, rest his soul. He used to torture us with "balance" and "esthetics"....now it's just put every blessed ornament in the house on that tree. Yes, we have a theme...CHRISTMAS! And it might be an artificial tree, but it's a REAL Christmas tree! And every room has to have something that says Christmas - right down to the mud room.

Thumbs up Re: oh Christmas tree!

Nomad I hear mate, I have a fake tree as well. Actually we can't have a real tree in the Apartments to much of a fire danger. The fakes trees have become as good looking as the real ones.

Re: oh Christmas tree!

Our house is a Christmas free zone.

I think it's kind of funny that people come to visit us around christmas time to get away from christmas
