Thanks Odie,
There were business house relays. Duck races,egg & spoon races,three legged races,free sausage sizzle,free bacon & eggs for breakfast. A coffee shop set up,that was my favourite. The local cadets raised the Australian flag,they all did a great job. We all sang Avance Australia Fair,and felt proud as we did that as a family. We are very lucky we live in freedom & can have days like this. Then more relays,food, races, etc. It was a very hot day so good planning to have this day at the local pool. I was proud of our small community & all the wonderful people who work hard to make it the great place that it is.  |
