Many Child Car Seats flunking crash tests

Consumer Reports has released data on thier tests of 35 child car seats...most failed crash tests by overwhelming margins. Of the 35 there were only 2 they could reccommend.

Here is the article. http://health.yahoo.com/news/170547;...reII6miPRLvs8F

Re: Many Child Car Seats flunking crash tests

I heard a really interesting report on this on NPR's "All Things Considered" about an hour ago*. I was driving so the interview resonated somewhat. I can imagine right now there would be a few very worried parents checking their cars.

*It's replayed on one of the radio channels run by our national broadcaster in Australia.

This has received a lot of press here, Marie. I'm horrified that these manufacturers haven't tested their products with the same methods as C.R!
