This doesn't bode well. Why oh why would she hitchhike, by herself, in a foreign country.

That story completely pisses me off... what a stupid, stupid thing for that girl to do! I thought exchange students (almost wrote stupids) were closely monitored by the families they stay with.

FOX news (greta's program) has picked up on this story also. and young people hitching in other countries is extremely common.

It was just reported that she was found safe and was on her way to the Police station.

Whew! finally one that had a happy ending!
