Our original "for sale" area was an interim solution. Our new Marketplace area has some excellent and exciting features!

# Sellers can place classified ads for fixed prices or with optional eBay style bidding enabled.
# Sellers can upload several photos to display with each classified ad.
# Sellers can set an expiration date for each ad.
# SOLD IT! and RELIST IT! options to disable/re-enable ads.
# User feedback system to provide ratings and feedback for buyers and sellers.
# Contact seller page allows buyers to contact sellers without revealing seller email address.
# Search by keyword.

Additional information you may be interested in:

. Feedback System. Styled after the familiar eBay, members can leave Positive, Neutral or Negative feedback on another member. Points (which can be set by admin) determine the type of "star" a user can get (there are five stars). Positive are +1, Neutral are 0 and Negative is -1.

. Bidding. If enabled, users can elect to have their items open for bidding. This auction-style bidding will allow users to bid and incrementally have their bids raised to their max bid rate (eBay style).

. Highlighted, Bold and Italic Ads.

. Ad Expiration. The ad expiration has been change to not delete ads automatically, but to "expire" them and remove them from the views.

. All updates reported to date.

It will probably take a little bit of time to get this area of FG filled up, but we are excited about the possibilities.

The Marketplace area is also friendly to Google, MSN, Yahoo, and other search engines. Listings posted here will most likely be indexed within a day to several days - and anything listed here will show up on the search engines - thus increasing your audience tremendously.
