New Photo Area Open!

Hi Everyone,

As most of you know, I love looking at everyone's photos. The ability to catch a glimpse of where you live, what interests you, what you see, and what things look like in different parts of the world fascinate me.

So, with that in mind, I've created a dedicated section in ForumGarden that supports the above. Think of it as Geo Photo Blogging.

Can I just make a small suggestion.. Why don't you add a "Art and Photography" section?

Somewhere for people who take Photography seriously and would like to showcase their talents?

Something like: "Artwork Gallery" section?

Brilliant idea. I love photography and prefer to shoot in black and white. Stark contrasts and all that.
However, as i'm a woman, i am a technophobe. I have no idea of how to post my pics from my p.c. to FG
Mr Oscar is fed up trying to show me.
Is there a FG buddy out there with the patience and plain p.c. speak who can help me.?

I'm serious, i had to phone Mr Oscar once when he was out to ask how the grill on our oven worked

Go to your profile and locate your album, in there it will say upload photo's,
click upload and it will take you to your PC files, select the picture you want and press OK

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I will try my hardest.
It's not just p.c.'s with me, it's everything. Mr Oscar gives up, tuts and does things for me, but then i never learn. It's peculiar that i can operate photographic equip but not stuff like this. Thanks again. Your a Star.

Why do technophobes think that they're dismantling a bomb

Just keep trying.. your PC wont explode honestly
just make sure you don't press the delete key

you'll get it sorted, if you get stuck just say so.

I may be a bit slow here, how is this different than the current photo albums we already have? Do I need to re-load my photos or are they linked?

I think it's the fear of the un-known. Mr Oscar come's home with a new dvd recorder or the like and i look at it, assume that i'll never understand it and just don't try.

I actually did it!!

I got a pic of the face of OSCAR in the start of a new album.
