Walk The Line

I can't be the only one here who remembers hearing about the fifties
I had to admire the Johnny Cash movie and the way it so succinctly and accurately captured the dress and hairstyles of the fifties, not to mention the attitudes .
The director either has a good memory or his mother does, because Reese Witherspoon did a GOOD June Carter ala 1950s

Thanks for the info libertine. Am on the fence whether we will go see it.

The guy who does Johnny looked too baby faced in promos to me.

Does he resemble this guy at all?

Yes, he does a great job and so does she, see it, it is mainly a love story and it ends after they get together.
I don't think you will be disappointed, they do their own singing and hell you even forget Juakines scare on his lip.

Re: Walk The Line

I sort of like his scar... he's not the typical blandly handsome leading man Hollywood is famous for. Dreamy eyes, too.

He's the one that should've won the Oscar for best actor in "Gladiator." He was amazing.
