I think it gives those of us who may not be able to express ourselves face to face, the oportunity to converse and argue with a diverse amount of people. Personally, I'm always stuck for the right words or the right way to say things. Anything in the real world has to be off the cuff and spontanious. Here you are granted the time to study and think or even edit, your thoughts

Tis a great place to make interesting friends, and enemies....

It is adult, we don't have children running amok here blabbing and being fools. We do well enough with that on our own. We do well with our own self governing.

We get to learn things about other people and their culture.

We can choose to debate, agree, argue, or befriend and for the most part just participate in a great communication place freely.

We have one of the largest membership of many forums out there... so at any given time you actually have someone to talk with....
we are open 24 hours.

sometimes you dont really know what something means to you until you dont have it anymore, i left for a few months & really missed everyone, its a special place

I like the place because it has a great mixture of personalities.
I come here to relax & get away from everyday problems.
I love the arcade even though I am pretty bad at playing the games,that is where I go to really wind down.

I have met some lovely people on here

When I was away and not posting I was lost with out you all--I received emails and they would lighten my load for the day....I had gotten into a terrible "feel sorry for myself state" -and coming back made me realize I needed to grow the hell up and deal with life...So I guess I can say--The FG helps me fight my cancer with avengeance!! I stay at Forum Garden because it allows me to post freely, and that it allows me to responsibly converse unmolested by moderators.

It is what makes this place so successful and peoples choice above other forums. Long may that continue
