    Obviously the US doesn't have any buildings nearly as ancient as in Britain, but we're working on it.

    Yes, you only walk across at low tide, at high tide you take a ferry (which is actually a very small boat)
    Quite a few people live on the Mount, including Lord St Levans nephew and family who live in part of the Castle.
