the birth of dreams

softly gliding through the never ending twlight
spirling down to graze the coluds
floating with the wind

now gliding through the mists of avalon
seeing first hand the creation of dreams
will they ever come to light

empty wishes and unfound hopes decend upon the earth
alighting on little ones shoulders
to wisper sweet thoughts into their sleeping heads

will they ever come to pass
only the morning will show

as the sun softly kissis the cheeks of the child
the thoughts begin to grow
with the warmth the day

and the dreams begain to take hold

Re: the birth of dreams

it's nice to have another poet on site. you write well. interesting thought on poets not liking to read poetry. probably true. i like it though. just not enough time to read everything i would like to.
