Re: Come on!!!...test your 60's knowledge
I came to Australia from the UK in the 1960s so my memories are a bit all over the place but some Australian music at that time included:
Ray Brown and the Whispers The Easybeats Normie Rowe The Loved Ones Bobby and Laurie Ronnie Burns The Bee Gees (they were kids!) I won't go on as to many these names (save the Bee Gees) would be irrelevant. |

Re: Come on!!!...test your 60's knowledge
Definitely subtract "The Waltons" from your 60s reminiscing. The Waltons were first introduced in a 1971 TV movie called "The Homecoming", about a depression-era family (the Waltons, of course) who were about to celebrate Christmas with, of course, dodging their usual share of family dramas. That movie, however, made way for the TV series "The Waltons" which aired from 1972 to 1981 or so. There were also a few TV movies centering around the Walton family which were offshoots of the TV series, but all aired well after the 1960s were already history. So, the TV series "The Walton's" really should not be included in 1960s nostalgia.
