See, I told ya you'd like the pressure cooker! We used ours tonight and made a pot roast with potatoes and carrots. Best investment I ever made!

Hiya Odie!

I consider myself to be sorta of a novice cooker: Grill, slow cooker, oven (which I hate), George Foreman Grill, toaster oven.....don't own a microwave and now I'm getting friendly with the pcooker.

With having a big family you have to be a novice cooker. You don't have a microwave? Why not?

I had one for years, but hubs wasn't ever thrilled with it. We mainly used it for warming up a cup of coffee or popcorn. And we both weren't thrilled with defrosting. The kids loved it, but............it died finally. Have been microwave free for 2 years now. Don't miss it.

We have one but don't use it too much, unless we heat leftovers.

Have you seen the weather forecast for Monday yet? I'm sure hoping this new storm goes south of us. If it does, your area and up the coast to KE will get hit hard. They say this is one major storm coming through.

Good morning Pubnutters!

Whoo hoo...did you see the game last night! Awesome interception by Harrison, ran a 100 yard touchdown and Holmes' touchdown in the 4th quarter sealed the win for the Steelers! Fantastic game it was!

Whew.....the storm is going south and going out to sea. Yeah! Good news to hear since I'm tired of shoveling.
