abuser doesn't want child's life support removed

Abused Girl's Life Support Case to Mass. High Court.......a sordid tale indeed. the little girl should be removed from life support according to doctors, she was horribly abused, including beatings with a baseball bat. but her abuser, who lived with her and never adopted her, wants her left on life support so that he won't be charged with murder. he's currently out on bond with abuse charges. her grandmother shot her aunt/adoptive mother and killed herself as well. i wonder what this poor child endured in life.

Why would he have any say in the matter?

he hasn't been convicted and anyone can petition the court.

I did not know this. This is even more awful because of that. Poor thing may become a pawn between people just to see what they can do with the laws.
