Why is AIDS so devastating to Blacks?

Why are more black people dying of AIDS than others? Is it an immune system problem, their behavior, poverty, or was the disease created and introduced by a racist? I think the answer to this question is a key to slowing and/or stopping the suffering and death being experienced by all races, particularly Blacks.

It doesn't help when you have the president of South Sfrica saying it's not caused by a virus and the catholic church preaching against the use of condoms on the rather dubious basis that they don't help stop the aids virus.

I had not heard of any proof that one "race" is more "immune" than another. Certainly not on a large scale. Although i recall a similar idea being put forward that the people who were more resistant to the black death in Europe many centuries ago have better immunity to aids now...

Groups most prone to getting AIDS are: certain drug users; homosexuals;
promiscuous people. Sub-groups of those will be practically immune, due
to social habit. Race is not a factor - circumstance, however, is.

What you say is logical to me. It isn't what I'm hearing the "experts" say. They say black people are somehow more likely to be infected because of race. There are also those who say it is an engineered desease, designed to infect one race more than others.

Which experts might these be, then, I wonder? There are "conspiracy theorists"
