I am going to Italy!!!

Jr Minks and I are going the first of May. Our plan is to start with Rome (naturally) then head south to Sorrento/Amalfi Coast area.
I know no Itallian so am reading "Itallian for Dummies". I chose May for the cooler temps (with luck we miss the rain) and for fewer tourists.

I am sooooo excited.

Has anyone been? Any tips?

We are going as the complete tourist when in Rome, so don't try and tell me to stay off the beaten path's hehehehehe
Once in Sorrento we will maybe take it slower, but I really want to go see Pompeii. I know there will be much to miss but hey this is the girl who went to England and never got to Stonehenge
