Cool Battle

Oh WOW! A camping trip that was just amazing! Camped in Battle for about 9 days and explored from Rye to Seven Sisters. What an incredible island this is!
The battlefield is still intact and you can still feel the vibes. The English and Normans left the ground consecrated.
Pevensey and Hastings are ruins, but still enough left to explore and climb in.

Seven Sisters are some of the most inspiring cliffs! (almost got blown off!)
It was a grande adventure for sure!

The largest medieval fayre in England is just that! HUGE! Herstmanceux Castle is fantastic and a wonderful setting for an event!

I love this place!!

(trying to get pics up) one moment please...

I brought back a couple of pieces. (they were already broke off!) But the wind on the top! Absolutely amazing! We did the hikers walk from East Dean across the the seven cliffs to West Dean and Friston. Amazing.

It is a place I like to go when I'm home in Sussex.
Did you go the Observatory ?

The Observatory Science Centre

We used to love going there as kids.

You'll love it. As kids, our father took us there regually and we'd often bump into a famous astrologer 'Patrick Moore', he was one of the nicest peeps I have ever met.

We met him there 4 or 5 times as he was always there. He is a lovely man and always had a great deal of time for the kids interested in the Observatory. It has a huge amount of history to It as well. You will definately love it there.
