Sick Day.................Rocks!......Kinda......
I'm home taking a day off from work today. Called in sick. There is such a thing as a "stomach virus". No pain.........just feverish, thirsty,,,,,,,,,,,,,and have to "homestead" near a bathroom. Started feeling nauseous last night...and the symptons went from there. I won't go into detail.
Anyone else been through this?

Nullius in verba ... ☎||||||||||| ... To Fate I sue, of other means bereft, the only refuge for the wretched left.
When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.
Who has a spare two minutes to play in this month's FG Trivia game! ... My other OS is Slackware.

that can't be much fun for you:( even if you do get a day off. i'll tell you what are brilliant though... snow-days!
I had one last week, and it really just involved having a mammoth snowfight instead of doing anything useful, and then standing on the roof and throwing snow at people in the street. Good fun was had by all (except possibly the people in the street...)

their has been an epidemic of sorts here of a stomach bug...Lasted weeks for some people.
Reports are coming in of a seasonal stomach bug that is sweeping the UK and infecting some 100,000 people a week, a figure that may rise to 200,000 a week, according to health experts.
In a bid to contain the spread of the norovirus, sometimes called winter vomiting disease, the Royal College of General Practitioners (RGCP) is urging people are not to return to work until 48 hours after the symptoms have stopped, according to a Guardian news report.
They are especially being asked not to go near places holding vulnerable people in large numbers such as care homes, clinics and hospitals.

I work for the nhs and public health are in the next building, they saysome of our problems were due to this; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/4486916.stm
Stay off for 48 hours and drink plenty of fluids.........lots of internet activity is also reccomended:)
