Long Day = Cowering Strangers
Long Day = Cowering Strangers
I knew it hadn't been the best day. I knew I was really exhausted. What I didn't know what that the reason my key wouldn't open the door was that it was the wrong door.
It took me a few tries before I actually checked out my surroundings and clued into the fact that it was not my door. I immediately pictured a phobic woman cowering on the other side of the door listening to my key fighting with her lock muttering "please make it go away please make it go away please make it go away". I'm hoping no one was home. :yh_rotfl

That's not Normal..
it's not normal to go to a wrong door...
How tired are you?
Has there been a medication change?
your lucky the person on the other side of the door didn't have a GUN.

She's Canadian. They were on the other side with a hockey stick.

The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"
Lone voice: "I'm not."

So i'm picturing Koan now, at a door, forcing a key into a lock...........yelling "You stupid bloody thing, I just want to get it!" and giving the door a few kicks.
Yep...........someone is cowering behind that door.:wah:

Indeed it does ... When I was about 8 years old I was woken out of my sleep at about 2am. I could hear someone knocking our front door. I went in to mum's room and told here there was someone at the door. She told me not to be silly and go back to bed. I went back to my room but I could still hear knocking and the door handle started to rattle.
I peeked my head round the corner where I could see the front door. (We lived in a bungalow at the time) Through the door I could see this very drunk older woman with her face right against the glass.
I screamed at the top of my voice, ran to mum's room, fell through the door sobbing and told mum to call the police.
The police came out and took the lady to the station ... she'd got lost on the way home from a party, poor thing!
I wasn't right for a long time afterwards
