I think the point is "when does it become unreasonable?". In the posted picture, it looks as though the woman concerned is showing off - it's easy, judging by the way that most women feed their babies, to do it far less overtly, and IMO it's very reasonable if done reasonably carefully.

A small addition to the discussion (or slanging-match!) - it's quite funny to see the reactions of many women, especially those accompanied by their men, when there's a woman breast feeding!

As for myself, I must go to China to check on the child labor. You see, the committee has them making clothes for the lost tribes in South America and Africa. It seems The Discovery Channel has been airing what is nothing less than pornography what with their willies flopping freely about and the women’s hooters performing likewise. Rest assured that this office will put an end to such acts ASAP. Could you imagine what harm viewing these hedonistic savages could cause to our civilized society? After all the work we’ve done to separate ourselves from these beasts.

I will also be in touch with one Ms. Flame of Australia to check on the state of the Aboriginal animals. I’m sure they have things flopping wildly around as well. Guess they don’t call it “The Bush” for nothing, eh?

I was going to comment that I'm finding it ironic that between JD and Red Glitter, the roles have been reversed, you would think that the man would be oppossing the public display, due to not wanting to see that openly. The men in my family always ran out the door when one of us nursing moms were going to feed the baby.

Just an observation...back to the scheduled program....

JD, you and I have never had a problem that I am aware of, so I'm not sure why you went off the deep end on this one. I think nursing is gross and unnecessary and you think it's God's gift. Fine. We disagree. Are we trying to change each other's mind? Are we being assh*les toward each other now? I'm really surprised at you.

For the record, I am not cold toward human beings and I think you're damned straight out of line to have said that to me. Same with the dog reference.

But that said, if you and I are going to argue about an issue, at least pick one that actually matters. There's a ton of them on here worth fighting over and this one isn't it.

As far as me doing you all a favor and not breeding, I think you already realized how low that was.

Ahhh hell. I already dropped it. As far as my going off the deep end there are issues I feel very strongly about. This obviously being one of them. I once spent the night in the Broward County Jail becuase I got in a verbal altercation regarding this very subject. Problem was it was regarding my son and wife and it was on a twin turbo returning from the Bahamas. If I didn't have a friend who's a Federal Air Marshall I don't know if they ever would have let me out.

I they didn't like the part where I told him if he doesn't mind his own business I was going to open the door and drop him to the sharks.:-2

I've settled down and left it with my typical sarcasm but I do like the Sarcastic Arrogant Bastard part. Fit's me rather well, no?

To explain, within the context of some contributions, this was a general light-hearted comment, not aimed at any FG contributors at all, rather people in a general situation.
