chantelle would like us to write a book about our lives ,she wanted to call it lost but loved

i am crap so i thought ,i'd ask you guys then i would seem really clever and thoughtfull :sneaky:

further more does any one think they would be interested in two peoples terrible struggles over 12 years apart :-3

my life without her ,her life with all that has happened to her those horrible times in cells with no windows just a bed on the floor ,who knows maybe someone would read it and be given hope :-3

oh well i'm very happy in my life now:-6 anything to keep her happy

Doesn't really matter if anyone is interested or not; just write the story. Cheapest therapy there is. I'd read it. Everyone has a story or two; some folks are just scared of the truth.

Just write it like you would say it. Sit down with her and have a conversation about it all, let something record it, or just have the conversation on paper. You can write down your bit then she can reply; then she can write her part and you can reply. It's different for everybody; I write like it sounds in my head if I were telling the story out loud. usually I do anyways. Take time with it, do a page a day, or one every other day. You don't have a deadline.

Write the book, there are so many people out there with similar situations OR have NEVER gone through anything like that and really makes you think when you read about others struggles and of course thankful and so happy that all worked out for the better, but it took a LONG time to get there....

"The broken Road" is a really good song and came to my mind....the Road was more than broken but it lead you two back together...just a thought

Never pick a title until the story is done. The title can have as much power over what the story becomes as anything else. I write, then go back through the story to find the title, or if I say a phrase, or mention something that seems out of place; I use that. Pick your own title, it's your story.

I know you weren't asking me but it means basically that it's good therapy. It means "emotionally purging." To purge yourself of all your troubles and despair.

Darn straight I'd read it! Put me down for the first copy!

I think it's a fantastic idea. :-6 :-6

Maybe you could go through it in stages,,, and have a chapter or a few from your perspective and then from your daughters perspective,, i bet you will find it amazing how differently you saw things and felt things..i bet if you picked certain times and situations you would both have a different perspective on it ,,, dunno if im talking sense her or not:wah: well i know what i mean:-5 :wah:

No title suggestions, but I think writing out what happened would be good for both of you. That's a lot of painful events to go through and writing about them would be a healthy outlet for dealing with them. Good luck with it and may your lives keep getting better & happier!
