Professor P. Caspar Biddle Jethrine

My earlier post on winter birds made Professor P. Caspar Biddle spring to mind ... remember him?? He was the classic nerdy bird watcher on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and played by Wally Cox.

From there, my memory slid over to the lovely Jethrine Bodine. That program was soooo cornball and I loved it! I was certain I was the only one in the family who saw the striking resemblance between Jethro and cousin Jethrine!! Pretty girl ... and so dainty too! Here she is with Jed!

You know, that was a very good looking man. It's hard to see that through the goofy story line (which I loved as well) but I think it ruined any further acting jobs he might have gotten since he was forever associated with that character.
