medical terminology

This morning I took a test for medical terminology to go work at a hospital next week. I tested 90. I only got 4 wrong out of 35. The girl at the agency was all impressed because I never told them I have medical experience. IT was long ago that I worked in the medical field. And I've been around that since I was a child since my dad is a doctor I told them. I also know chiropractic terminology.

So I'm going back there at 11 to get my paycheck and see where they will send me to work. I know it it will be at a hospital. Has anyone here ever heard of Kaiser? They put their employees thru a long testing (even the temps) . It has taken 10 days. And that was only the medical part. I had to to a TB test and they also drew blood. Ewww I hated that.

A bit off subject, Saff, but I'm guessing you've never had kids?

I used to hate needles too, but when you're pregnant they draw phials and phials worth of blood from you at every appointment! Each phial is tested for something different (don't know why they can't share one phial between all tests! )

Anyhow, I just wanted to say, once you've had kids you get used to it!
hehehehehe
