  14. Cantaloupe

They're in season here. So sweet that my beloved & I can eat until we can't move, so we only cut up one half at a time. When storing the other half in the fridge, do you scoop the seeds out first or leave them in until you're ready to eat?

  17. Need some gardening advice.

I want to have a small garden this summer. Mainly tomatoes, cucumbers, and squash. How big of a spot do I need? And am I getting in over my head? Where I live the town gets crappy produce. The tomatoes are usually bruised. The cucumbers are so waxy. And the squash is well just gross.

  20. A winter garden?

Summer is winding down, at least here in the northern hemisphere. What kind of gardening do you do in the winter? Do you live in an area where you have to "put the garden to bed" for the season? Can you actually grow things outdoors? Do you garden on your windowsill or under lights?
