This is a moderated forum area. Ideas for new games can be mentioned in the idea thread here (http://www.forumgarden.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26470) If the idea warrants full discussion, it will be moved to a "Proposal" thread until the details are locked in. If a proposal evolves into...
Welcome to the new forum area for FG Game Shows. We currently have The Dating Game underway and ideas for other shows are welcome. As more and more games take place we will learn more about what works and what doesn't. Sometimes the games will move quickly other times there will be pauses...

Well yet another series starts and the judges have changed......................................... Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, radio 1's Nick Grimshaw (don't know him !) replaces Louis Walsh (I quite liked him !), Rita Ora replaces Mel B (ex Spice Girl). We'll see how they get on....
Google is basically putting the canal network of England and Wales on the map, and people will be able to put in a route and if it's appropriate to go by canal, they would go by canal," he said. BBC News - Google Maps adds England and Wales's waterways to travel routes...
ithe million dollar mission for deal or no deal continues tomorrow night to see if someone can win a million dollars.
Write the first few words that come to your mind when you read the post of the person above you. I can't start it off since I don't have anyone above me. So I'll need someone to start it off. No inappropriate stuff.
Somehow, some way, I missed out on every Final Fantasy game. I loved Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Lufia, etc when I was a kid, but never played Final Fantasy. However, I am aware this is a huge gaping hole in my game history cirriculum. Which ones should I start with?
We need you for the Dating Game. I've got a whole bunch of women ready to play and no one to ask them questions. Remember, this is just for fun. It's not really a matchmaking scam. All you need are five questions and you'll go down in FG history as a really great guy!
Welcome to the FG Jerry Springer Show. There are two ways you can end up posting in this thread: 1) You flame someone on a Game Show 2) You decide to post in here with some wacky idea of fun. Chairs may be thrown at the expense of the production. They are replaceable and you will find...
What about one of those 'How well do we know each other' type things?

Rocky! Rocky! Fans of NCIS director Leon Vance will find the coming TV season to be twice as nice, as Rocky Carroll will pull double duty on CBS' NCIS and its spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles, TVGuide.com has learned. Carroll was promoted to series regular status on NCIS this past season, as Vance...
The Liar's Club We could have three contestants trying to convince members that they are this person described by an event or some bit of unknown information about them. We could also have a member post a photo of something unusual and have them try and convince other members that they know...
Was trying to think of a show, last night, that would work on FG. I could pick a phrase and write the blanks, then the first person to guess a letter becomes the first contestant... when they miss a letter the next person to guess a letter becomes contestant 2, and then a third. If the third...
Sheryl had a cute idea. We post a cat picture with no caption. After 4 or 5 days viewers can vote in a poll for the best caption for that pic. It will then be properly Photoshopped, added to the cheezburger thread and submitted to icanhascheezburger.com. Anyone game? :D
We're basing these online forum games on existing game shows, I understand. Okay, allow me to introduce you to the inimitable Arthur Negus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Negus). Once a week Arthur would show up at the studio before an audience and chair a half hour's guessing game. Each...
In it you have to describe whatever talent you are presenting, marks for creativity and description. Up to 8 members can enter a round, the competitions close for each round after 4 days or 8 competitors have entered then we vote for the best. The talent can be anything, as long as you consider...
It's time to play "Stump Spot" The rule is simple, the game is easy to play. Ask spot a question and find out if he knows the answer. If he knows the answer he will write it plain. If he had to google it he will say he googled because he was stumped - you get post "I stumped spot" in your...
You could do match game. Have a panel and two contestants. Ask the question. The panel pm's the MC (you ) their answers. Since each contestant would have different questions they could just post their answers, then you post the answers of the panel. Three rounds, contestant with most matches wins.
My next thought was an elimination game like "House" Get six members in the thread and each week someone is voted out.
Another idea is. "Stump the Spot" Where members pose questions etc too spot and relying on his integrity he either answers or just quotes the question and in very large text writes STUMPED!
