I tend towards minimalism myself. I carry a money clip with a few dollars (never too much), my driver's license and a debit card. I never carry my credit card; I only use it for online purchases.

Hmm...did your connection or your COMPUTER slow down while you were connected to cable internet? If your entire computer slowed down, then you probably have spyware/adware on your computer, or it could even have been co-opted by malicious software and turned into a "zombie" computer.

The movie was a fair rendition of the book; I'd say that it jived with the book about 80%. The subtractions from and additions to the primary plot were well-chosen and in keeping with the spirit of the story.

Once I earn my Graduate degree I plan on moving out West (probably to New Mexico, that's where all the achaeology is). If I do so, I wholly intend to pursue solar electricity for my home. Maybe even by that time we'll have cheaper/more efficient solar cells available. Who knows?

The difficulty with removing Norton stems from older versions of the software on specific versions of Windows. I'll need more information to help you with this, namely which operating system you are running and which version of Norton antivirus you have.
