Rear axle removal from an older Worksman.

I HAVE AN OLD WORKSMAN AND I CAN NOT REMOVE THE WHEELS FRKM THE AXLE, One

end of the axle is square and the wheel holes are round and the square end is larger than the round hole. I DON'T. KNOW HOW THEY ASSEMBLED THIS WHEEL ONTO THE AXLE...HELP!!
