I would do some research to see if they can legally not pay you for five months. I'm pretty sure that they have to pay you a salary. You weren't volunteering and you should have been paid. I wonder what you'll find out.

I was listening to "Help, I'm Alive" by Metric a minute ago, but now I've moved on to Arden Kaywin "Me With Me." I'm totally having this indie girl music phase lol. Both Arden and metric are really awesome! Everyone should check them out, especially if you like indie music.
