Just out of curiosity does anyone understand the star dates in star trek. It's bad enough making sense of the way americans write the date as it is but at least I can work it out. Star trek eludes me.

Hillwalking in Scotland you still come across bits of plane from ww2 crashes, makes you wonder what the crew were like. Two american planes crashed last year in the cairngorms, there are always the odd little bit they miss after such events.

"dropping out" i always thought was a middle class thing. You can only drop out if you have money or rach parents that can bail you out if you get in to trouble.

Personally I was unemployed for the better part of two years, not the kind of dropping out that was enjoyable.
