My problem is that I keep finding fabric that I just have to have. And, when I do a scrappy quilt from my fabric stash, it really doesn't use up alot. Oh well, my granddaughters will just have to deal with it.

<r>I don't can veggies but I make fig preserves and mayhaw jelly. I do not mash the figs, I leave them whole and cook in sugar and water for a couple of hours. I call them gold nuggets. When my granddaughter was about 8 years old, she would say "I want a ham sandwich and 3 preserved figs." <E>:)</E ...

I will admit paperwhites are beautiful, but their odor is something else.

I have worked for years in a medical laboratory. Believe me when I say paperwhites smell like old urine. I can't stand to be around them.
