Hi Cars!
The snow is still melting here in Baltimore, schools still closed. But I think enough will melt away we can return tomorrow. Lots of shoveling for days, lots of refreezing ice at night.
Ranked #1 snowfall in DC/Baltimore. Drifts were about 6' or more, had to shovel side of house 3 times to keep the heat. But no school today. :)

It sounds like a good opportunity for a cool trip. Go for it! Just carry a nice wooden walking stick around if the thought of those snakes bother you, so you can smack them if they come close. ...

My nightmare while traveling this week was that another pipe burst and flooded the house...now that I'm home I hope I will sleep peacefully in my dry home.

That is a long drive, and thought the hour and ten minute drive I took to D.C. this weekend was far........but I saw the harbor this time and it was quite pretty in the summer.

94 Ford Ranger works great on snowy days here, needs to be a shift vehicle for that ice sometimes. Gosh, we all learned how to drive in one when teens.......

Oh it is sad story, and I heard the lion killed was quite a famous one. I know many countries in Africa allow hunting with licenses of certain animals, as a source of revenue.
