Re: The Presidential Election of 2020

Well, the more I watch of the Circus that is the Dem "Debate" process, the more I am convinced that Donald will win the election.
So, assuming the Dems manage to gain a majority in the Senate,...

Re: The Presidential Election of 2020

Interesting. When I did a search on that, the closest to a credible news source that popped up was FOX News.

Clinton was not the first to suggest such a notion.

Re: The Presidential Election of 2020

I cannot argue with that. Insurance company participation was part of the compromise that was worked out to get the GOPers to join in.
And, of course, the delay that was written in to the bill...

Re: The Presidential Election of 2020

That could be a vast improvement over what we were left with in the Final ACA as passed.
We will have to see how it survives that committees and other actions.

H.R.1384 - Medicare for All Act of...

Re: Trump Pulling Back In Syria

So, an observation from a fellow I have been following for a while:

    - Jim Wright, Stonekettle Station (http://www.stonekettle.com/)

And the Donald is very proud of this "Cease-fire"

Re: The Presidential Election of 2020

The whole selection process, in my opinion, is flawed.
I do like Sanders, but he is getting a bit long in the tooth for the job he is chasing, I fear. Same with Biden.

At this point, I am far...

Re: Trump Pulling Back In Syria

I am far more concerned with headlines such as,

Trump hails a cease-fire deal with Turkey, but its effect was largely to mitigate a grave foreign policy crisis of his own creation.

    Fighting...

Re: The Presidential Election of 2020

I don't see anyone on that list that I would really feel comfortable with casting my vote for.
At this point, though, any one of them will get my vote before The T-Man.

    Representative Elijah Cummings

Elijah Cummings, Long time Congressman, and leader of the Civil Rights Movement in the US has died.

I am stunned by realization that he was actually so young, relatively.

    Re: Question

Most people seem to abandon reason when it comes to religion.
  12. Re: The scandalous assassination of Joshua Brown

Well, I don't disagree that the DPD might better serve the investigation by staying out of it. But I don't see any real holes in the theory that it was a simple drug deal gone bad, either.
  13. Re: The scandalous assassination of Joshua Brown

I honestly do not see what the PD could possibly have gained from Taking the guy out after the trial was over.
The only probable connection at all would be some sort of "Revenge" thing that the...
  14. Re: The scandalous assassination of Joshua Brown

Brown had been shot before, and was fearful of all the attention the trial would bring to him.
  15. Re: The scandalous assassination of Joshua Brown

Did you find evidence of prior convictions?

    12 lbs is chicken feed.
  16. Re: The scandalous assassination of Joshua Brown

I suppose that if the Defense attorneys had known that he was a drug dealer, they might have made that an issue and questioned his veracity as a witness against a police officer.
    I doubt that Drug...
  17. Re: The scandalous assassination of Joshua Brown

Don't see why. It seems pretty cut and dry.
the guy was a drug dealer, and the guy that shot him seems to have been a drug buyer. Though, I am sure that, there will be a DEA and possibly FBI...

We also leave our oil in the ground while we take...

Re: Trump Pulling Back In Syria

I was just reading that it seems the Orange One figures that he can now step in and negotiate a settlement to stop the fighting. Perhaps his next venture to get that Nobel Peace Prize that he has...
