  4. Re: Gotcha , Mr ISIS . You are dead .You are blown . Up .

I assume that “suiciding people” is the latest euphemism for murdering them

  7. Re: Hottest moment that created the Big Bang recreated

    I’m going senile, I can’t remember!
  8. Re: Unintelligibly illiterate BBC News article link text

It’s the bronze that caught my eye, if anything they’re usually known as the “a” final and the “b” final - I’ve never seen them referred to as the gold final and the bronze final.

Re: For gods sake get a flu shot

Yes you, it is a direct response to your explicit suggestion that only those as described would make their own decision rather than accepting yours :-
  13. Re: "Holy Grail" Bottle Of Scotch Whisky Sold For £1.5 Million

The we must blame Bush and Blair as the rise of ISIS stems directly from the invasion of Iraq and the power vacuum that they subsequently allowed to develop.

Re: For gods sake get a flu shot

I’m neither unhealthy nor fat, neither do I have a low immunity system but I will definitely make my own decision.
  15. Re: "Holy Grail" Bottle Of Scotch Whisky Sold For £1.5 Million

Whose disputing that the CIA is spending drug money whilst destabilising those it sees as harming US interests? I do, however, dispute Thai Obama and Clinton (H) created ISIS.

    Re: The nation's favourite hymns

Important distinction indeed, those words were used to justify genocidal killings not long after it was written, so easily misunderstood.
  17. Re: "Holy Grail" Bottle Of Scotch Whisky Sold For £1.5 Million

Given that ISIS grew directly out of Al-Qaeda in Iraq and Al-Qaeda formed in the early 80s that would appear unlikely.

Yes, We lost both of our dogs and the two cats, Sam the boarder collie was sixteen and went down with cancer, April the Bichon frise was seventeen and was developing dementia when her body gave up. ...

Re: Who is in the wrong?

As a road user, whatever the letter of the law, the more vulnerable you are the more you need to pay attention and protect yourself.

I am a pedestrian, a cyclist, a biker and a car driver and as...
