  1. Re: A Muslim On board....I'm Muslim...dont be scared

Then it's impossible to "moderate" in any meaningful sense without glaring inconsistencies, cf. refusal to moderate some things, banning people for posting other stuff.
  2. Re: A Muslim On board....I'm Muslim...dont be scared

Forum Garden may be about "conversations of life". It's certtainly *not* about posting offensive material, though. You could (and perhaps ought) to ask TS, if he's still the owner, for a refresher on...

Self-control by the posters is what's needed.

The posters of this stuff could edit their posts, and substitute links to them, with warnings. That would be best.

    Quite.

    Re: Designer dogs

It depends on what the market will stand. If there wasn't much loot in it, it wouldn't happen - ditto for "pure" breeds.

Some people want their flippin' heads knocking together.

I can remember that happening, when I was a child, like you are.

I wonder whether "Bob1234" is the same person as "BeWaterWise Rep" who's online now.

Re: Can you see the blinders?

Just "no" would have sufficed, and been more accurate.

So there were no hereditary monarchies before the year 1, give or take? Is this really true?

    Re: Out of date food

That's the point, though - "best before" (or even "display until") is not "use by".

The only thing I've had a problem with (of the stuff that looked OK) was a several-month-past-use-by...

    The C&G's gone, I see.

I know it's only a bank, but it had a reasonable history as a Building Society, before around 1995. 1,500 jobs to go, adding to the ones already gone since the Lloyd's/HBOS merger (around 3,000) -...

Thank you so far for your entertaining comments. My question was simple, not aimed at causing problems, although I must admit that it was inspired by the "Big Brother moderation" issue.

    Posting rate.

A *very* quick'n'dirty, literally "back of an envelope" graph shows FG's posting rate to be pretty flat, from the earliest figures I can easily find (Q3/2005) until now - meaning that the number of...
