After the tragic death of our dear little Dougal the Shih Tzu we rescued in November we have had the application form come this morning from the Southern Shih Tzu rescue, so we have filled it out and told them of the dates we are away etc etc so will now wait to see what happens, so fingers crossed we won't have to wait too long after we return from Northern Ireland on the 22nd July before we have another little rescue to love and care for, we know all dogs have their own little characters and we must never compare him/her to Dougal, or any of our other dogs,but in the short time he was here he gave us both a new lease of life and as you will appreciate we are both devastated and said we mustn't wait too long before having another rescue.
This is Jack a collie cross and George the black cat, very much loved and still missed ,but still here at the bottom of our garden , Dougal has joined them now so I can still care for that special piece of garden.
