38 beebees in it's hind quarters. THe dog has lead poisioning! How do you not notice that you're dog has been shot 38 times?

I think that's a viable reason to remove the dog from the negligent owner. If he's got 38 pellets in his backside how the hell do you not notice that?! Dumbasses!!!

I'm sorry, I was speaking out of turn. He was already removed from his previous owners. He now lives with a wonderful man. That's who is taking care of him now.
This same man took another rescue dog to Vanderbuilt for back surgery. ( Don't even ask what he paid for that!)

We have seen actual gun shot wounds. I mean some guy gets out his shotgun and shoots the neighbor's dog in his run kind of thing. It's always from the rural counties and there is inevadibly alchol involved.

What, I never said anything about rednecks!!

Don't get me wrong here, I have not turned cynical. Not at all. It's the legitamite people that just dont have a clue. It never ceases to amase me, I'm talking lawers, teachers, Heads of State, the ignorance that folks live with, they will spend litteraly $1,000 on a dog and have no information about how ro raise it or keep it healthy , The same goes for the thug that will spend his very last $500 to get a prized Rottie , that (dog) will ultimatimately starve to death at the a four foot chain.

This is my every day life. People are cruel, animals are helpless. They are trying to ban"certian breeds" from existing in th United States. If you get involved in your local Humane Soiety, I'll get off my soap box.

The two toxic cats went home this morning with everything looking pretty much back to normal. They, of course, will get the royal treatment for several days.
    Another tradgedy avoided.

I love reading your stories about your work with animals

If you ever have the time

Could you tell us sick pet stories with happy endings?

I, for one, would just LOVE to read about them

    Oh thank you Cher!
I get the feeling that i go too much, kind of like people who always want to show you pictures of their vacation or grandkids or something.
We do have happy endings here.

We have the parvo dags that the owners kept alive by using an eyedropper and pedialyte, didn't sleep for three days.

We have the dog with the Bloat beat the odds and survived suvived surgery.

The Kitties that just went home this morning.

I'll tell you a really good one in a minute. I have to run a fecal
