    The Home we Left Behind.

Just one of the many pics that we took as we explored the countryside around our village in Spain. Very sad to have left it all behind.

That looks beautiful. I love water myself, I love being able to trundle down to the beach whenever I need to think.

That's quite remarkable - talk about Spain, and everybody automatically has visions of ten-ton Tommies rolling in fat, discarded beer cans, and everything that goes with the holiday industry. Obviously there are vast areas of unspoilt Spain which, thankfully, the tourist haven't found.

My wife got homesick, her parents are in their eighties and she wanted to be nearer them and our grown up children who all live in Devon.

A 10 minute drive from our village.

Nice to meet you Soberano . A few years ago my family and I spent 3 weeks in Portugal and then headed off to Tarifa in order to catch a hydro to Tangiers. We spent hours driving through the southern parts of Spain looking at all the beautiful sunflower fields. You have a beautiful country there, and I plan to return one day. Do you miss home.

I miss it more than my wife. I will visit as often as possible, i am contemplating a long weekend to visit a few friends in a few weeks.

Pictures like these make me miss it even more. I would go back, i don't know about the wife though.
