Started listening to the old Light Programme (!!!) in the mid-50s, Bill Haley, Perry Como, Buddy Holly, that sort of stuff, then came the fabulous 60s Beatles, Cliff, Elvis, Small Faces, Hollies, Dylan, Kinks, Stones, Elvis, CSNY, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, all of which I love, now "at my age" (!) I also appreciate quieter stuff like Eva Cassidy and Nick Drake, though Radiohead very enjoyable too and George Michael made some great albums before he suddenly changed musical direction.

I hesitate to ask, Captain, but... the Young One's What?

Son, you'll be a Batchelor Boy until the day you die.

I was - and still am - mostly attracted by strong lyrics. Vivian Stanshall and Pete Atkin, have stood the test of time. Would you call them popular?

Follow Mr. Apollo! Everybody knows that a healthy body makes a healthy mind. You can kick the sand right back in their faces!

"Just give me ten years of your life, and I'll trade in that puny flab for living muscle, physique you deserve! Strong! Chest and shoulders to hold your shirt! Five years ago, I was a four stone apology, today I am two separate gorillas!"

No tiresome exercises, no tricks, no unpleasant bending. "Wrestle poodles and win! Play beach ball! Shave your legs! Lope over walls! Tease people! Brush them aside as though they were matchsticks! Impress your friends!"
