Northern Ireland almost grinds to a halt twice in one week

Well, it has been raining constantly since Wednesday and parts of the country have been flooded quite badly Belfast included. I'm house sitting for a friend this weekend and I almost didn't get here due to flooding. Thankfully I eventually got here in one piece (after falling in the BIGGEST puddle you've ever seen) and now I'm locking myself in for the weekend coz guess what....??
    It's still raining

Thank heaven for FG to keep me company

Hard to believe that last weekend it felt like we were in the Mediterranean, I hope that wasn’t the total of our summer this year.
