Sorry Bryn... do you want to change my thread title to Corrie's Scmeichel?

It was very moving tonight when he bowed out.

It moved me to tears too.

It was a brilliant piece of acting by young Sam Aston who plays Chesney. It was so moving because there were hidden story lines within the story line. For me It was about a boy losing his dog but also with his girlfriend about to have a baby, a boy who finally realised that he was now an adult.

Once again, the script writers excelled themselves.

At last, I found It.... This was the best ever Scmeichal moment In Corrie.

Coronation Street - Les, Cilla Battersby & The Jacuzzi...Forwards Then Backwards - YouTube

Last nights episode when Schmeichal bowed out.

A brilliant bit of acting by Schmeichel, he did everything that was asked of him. I just love Corrie!

Only In Corrie would you hear the line:

" You buried my son under a knicker factory"

    Joy Fishwick to John Stape
