The Cimbri were a Germanic tribe who hailed from modern day Germany & Denmark. In 113BC when a tidal wave devastated their lands the survivors emigrated south.

They were real gentlemen as the date and place of battles were settled with their enemy in advance. In battle formation the men in the front rank were lashed together by their belts Live or die together was their battle cry!

In several battles they gave the Roman Army a bloody nose but in 103BC the Roman army crushed them in battle.
