    What's that saying? Every king has a slave for an ancestor and every slave an emperor.
    It's a way to wind up racists, has them spitting, they're often not informed enough to be able to counter it.

    Blond haired blue eyed slaves, especially female ones, used to fetch a premium and were quite common in north Africa that is where the blue eyes come from. Same in turkey and the middle east. In the fifteenth century the shah of persia gave blond female slaves as a gift to the Chinese emperor where their somewhat exotic appearance was a sensation.

    Slave raiding in europe used to be commonplace in the middle ages some two million slaves were taken from europe to north africa, there were slaves taken from coastal towns in england in one case in Baltimore in ireland the entire population of a town was taken. That was in 1631 and was the biggest single attack by the Barbary pirates on Ireland or Britain.
