    Sorry Lars

    Can't win them all.

    Mustang...I bet you are happy.

And I wasn't even close on the spread.

So since the game was a bust did you pay any attention to the commercials?

Well, THAT didn't turn out the way I planned it.

Seahawks have a damned good Defense. And their offense looked pretty good, too.
Russell Wilson is a class act.

Hahahahaha! I watched the Kitten Bowl too! Interesting. I wondered how they would score. The scwiggley track was a nice touch. Actually, I liked it better than the actually event which was a wash for me.

I'm happy that the Seahawks won, even though I'm a Steelers fan. Almost thought the game was going to be a shut out. Took the Bronco's until 10 seconds before the 4th quarter to get a score on the boards. Manning sure didn't look happy.

Commercials: Dorittos Time Machine, Dorittos Cowboy Kid and Budweiser's Puppy Love were my favorites. What were yours, Lady J?

I liked the Coca Cola "It's Beautiful" commercial. Puppy Love was great, too.
I liked the Doritos, both of them, but the cowboy takes the edge.

Also thought Bruno Mars did a good show. He has a great career ahead, I think.

Awesome game, glad I ended up watching it. Those Seahawks just took my breath away. Loved the half-time show. Loved the fireworks, the anthem, great show!

Wife has roots in Colorado so I had to experience a touch of the agony of defeat.

No way I am a fan of football. My following comment is no way to criticize the sport, or your loss.

Saying this without watching a moment of last nights massacre, been my observation that these Super Bowl contests often are among the worst of the season.

Sports reflects life. If you're having a bad day, everything can seem to go wrong, all at once.
I don't know what happened to the Denver team, but it seemed they were definitely having a bad day.

    Attitude can mean so much.
Example I like to use. Basketball free throws. I can go to the gym, and shoot free throws all day long. I once hit 100 out of 100. But I doubt that, where I standing on the floor with a few thousand of my closest friends watching, I could hit 1 for 10. The mechanics should be the same, but somehow the brain gets into the middle of it, and it suddenly becomes harder.
So once something goes wrong, the brain takes over and all the mechanics get out of sorts.

There is a saying in the NFL, "Any Given day" meaning any given day any team can take the field and win against any other team in the league.
Statistically, the Broncos should have been toe to toe against the Seahawks all night, and it should have been a difference of 3-6 points, coming down to the last few minutes. Both teams are that good.

But it seems that the Bronco Offense just misfired right from the get-go, and it went downhill from there.
And Seattle's Defense never let up, and never let Manning and his his gang catch their breath and get back in the game. They were executing well, and they were inspired, and they never let up. They scored half the points in the game.
And starting out ahead, the Seahawks offense could relax a bit and play their game. The Denver defense got into the same feeling of desperation, and had a tough time keeping up with Russell Wilson. He was very good at his job, and made some excellent plays.

Seattle could well be the team to be reckoned with for the next few years. I've always had a lot of respect for Pete Carroll. he is a leader of men.

I fully expect the Broncos to be back in the hunt next year, though, and we might see a different outcome in 2015.
    (I sure hope so.)

There have been some really bad games over the years, where one team just romps and leaves the other panting in the dust. The Broncos have been that 'other team' a couple of times.

But there have been some great games as well.
(Last night, obviously was NOT one of those)

I knew the game was over at the first snap. I turned it off after the first quarter and played Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. At least I can win at that.
